Washington state artist Anna Halpin works with acrylics and mixed media on canvas and references her own photography of local PNW landscapes for art inspiration. Anna grew up in Whatcom County and graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and minor in Psychology. Anna was featured in multiple student art shows and has shown her paintings in club venues, breweries, cafes, restaurants, and galleries across Bellingham, WA. After college Anna moved to Homer, Alaska and showed her art in the bakery where she worked, local restaurants, and a local gallery. In Anna's work she explores the beauty of PNW nature, starry skies with full moons, local landscapes, dreamlike settings, and places she has traveled in abstracted perspectives. Anna's intuitive and visionary paintings include spiritual elements like sacred geometry incorporated into the colorful landscapes.
